Who is Little Old Lady Quilting?

Little Old Lady Quilting is the outgrowth of years of Wynn Creasy exploring the world around her in a number o f creative mediums.

Starting with her childhood as a singer in her family’s country and bluegrass band she then escaped to NY for a while as a dancer. She went back to college and got degrees in Theatre, and Voice and went on to sing professionally for a number of years in both musical theater and many of the world’s opera stages. Along the way, she studied to be a chef, worked as an executive secretary, did a lot of directing and choreography, got her real estate license,  and began to develop her talents in the visual arts where she became and recognized landscape artist working in oil pastels, oils and in Silk painting.

The silk work eventually led to her exploration of quilting techniques, which has opened the door to her building a business as a Fiber artist and long arm quilter

My studio Mascot – The Little Old Lady Quilter (who just might be whistling a happy tune as she goes along in her wonderful creative life.) A gift from a dear friend!

My life these days is focused on my creating a body of art work that represents my passion for fiber in its many stages, and also art work that connects to myself and others about the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Bedford, VA.
